Disappointing 3000 meter in Berlin

August 10th 2003 - Kamiel's first race after altitude training in Switzerland was a 3000 meter race in Berlin. The scheduled 5000 meter in this Golden League event was changed into a 3000 meter. A good speedtest for Kamiel, but the result was a bit disappointing: 12th in a time of 7.56.56. Afterwards he said that he didn't feel well during the last week in Sankt Moritz. He hopes to do better in Zurich's 5000 meter and thus travel to Paris with confidence.
