November 7th 2007 - The superb marathon result in the Amsterdam marathon has been noticed by the European Athletics Association. Kamiel was one of the nominees for the European athlete of the month October poll. And he received the highest number of votes from the European fans and press, so he may call himself European Athlete of October 2007. More good news for the Dutch, because Lornah Kiplagat is female athlete of October 2007.
