Good tune-up in BrasschaatJuly 22nd 2007 - After two slightly disappointing races, Kamiel seems to be getting in shape right on time. In a surprisingly strong field during the Flanders Cup meeting in Brasschaat, Belgium, Kamiel ran 13:32.49 for 5.000 meters.
"Finally I seem to get back to the right feel for track races. I was able to run 65 second laps and ran my fastest 5k since 2003" Kamiel remarked. "Next week I will participate in the Spanish 10k Championships. Then, I will have to run laps between 66 and 67 to qualify for the World Championships in Osaka."
